Influence of abutment angulation on implant failure in immediately placed and restored implants in the esthetic zone

Background: Tooth extraction socket in the aesthetic area is a major indication for immediate implant placement greatly improving patient satisfaction and preserving alveolar ridge. However, effect of non-axial force on peri-implant bone with subsequent early failure remains unclear. Objective: Evaluate prognosis tilted implants immediately placed restored angled abutments comparison to straight esthetic (anterior or premolars) using computer-aided surgical guides. Material methods: Badly decayed non-restorable teeth zone were extracted atraumatically. Immediately after guided insertion, adjusted according allocation group (0, 15, 25-degree angle) then temporary crown was performed out occlusion centric eccentric relation. Early assessed at three six months. Results: There no statistically significant difference between two groups (P=0.305). Straight abutment showed 6 (14.3%) 8 (20%) failed cases, respectively.
